Made for classroom vocabulary practice

This starter uses 30 everyday classroom objects, people and subjects. Use it to practice recognizing written words, or replace the items with vocabulary from your current lesson.

How to play

  1. 1

Give each learner a card and review any unfamiliar words before playing.

  2. 2

Say a word, describe an object or give a clue. Learners find and mark the matching square.

  3. 3

Agree on a winning pattern, such as one row. Ask a learner to read the completed words back before confirming Bingo.

Make it work for your group
For a shorter lesson, choose a 3 × 3 grid in the editor. Keep enough distinct words for every playable square.
